When the inspiration to write this blog came to me (ooo that sounded creepy), I was reading the story of Moses in Exodus. I was fascinated by this man’s incredibly close walk with God not only as a mentor but as a friend. Their friendship was so intense that Moses stayed on the mountain with God without food and water for weeks, drinking HIM in, feasting on HIS presence.
I want to be a friend of God like Moses was a friend of God. It is this friendship that I long for, strive for. This blog is to document my striving after Christ, to tell the story as I seek to embed myself in the heart of God.
“Thus the Lord used to speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend…” Exodus 33:11
